#IwoElectoralDebate: Could This Be Cowardliness? Aspirants Refused To Show Up At The First Ever Iwo Electoral Debate

The Iwo Press Club had what we can partially call a successful Electoral Debate today but was hindered by the absence of majority of the candidates.

Today, the 27th of January, the Iwo Press Club conducted the first ever electoral debate in the history of Iwo.

The debate which was anchored by one of the prominent members of the club, Niyi Isamotu aka Mc Malaga and also had Ambassador Idowu Olaniyi and Mr Are Olayemi as the moderators aimed at bridging the gap between the aspirants and the entire public but Alas, this aim wasn’t fully achieved as majority of the aspirants refused to show up.

Afrobadoo Media gathered that one of the aspirants sent a letter claiming that the Maximum Security the Iwo press club promised was just a mirage while others didn’t respond to the call at all.

The aspirants that were invited are:
Akogun Posi Adiatu (ADP)
Hon Yinusa Amobi (APC)
Otunba Gbenga Adewunmi (JMPP)
Chief Mudashir Lukman (PDP)

Out of all the aspirants, L&K was the only one that showed up.

He arrived at Iwo Town hall which was the venue for the debate at around 1pm and pleaded not to spend much time because he had other places to visit as well.

He talked extensively about his agenda for Iwo. Out of many according to him are as follows:

“If elected, my administration as a representative of this federal constituency will be all encompassing and will be devoid of partisan representation.”

“My major concern is the development of Iwoland and I promise to share my manifesto with whoever emerges”

“I’ll provide regular feedback to constituents if elected as House of Representatives for Iwo Federal Constituency”

He signed out with a promise not to neglect the masses if eventually voted for.
